Worship and Spirituality

We offer opportunities for encounters with the holy, through word and sacrament, prayer, and contemplation. Our worship fills us with joy in our hearts through the love of Christ and inspires us to respond to God's call.

  • 5 weekly services between Christ Church and St. Ignatius Chapel, with a Sunday livestream that reaches hundreds
  • A beautiful music program with three choirs and a series of concerts and musical events
  • Daily Evening Prayer with dozens of participants
  • The Contemplative Well at Christ Church offers centering prayer, workshops, and more
  • The Labyrinth at Christ Church hosts regular walks and welcomes the public every day

Mission and Outreach

When we serve and care for those in need, we exhibit the joy in our hearts from our trust in Jesus even in the darkness of suffering. Christ Church makes a tremendous difference in our community because our parishioners are generous with their time and resources.

  • Backpack Buddies feeds 750 hungry children weekly
  • Our teams regularly volunteer at Manna House, Second Harvest, the Seafarers Center, and more
  • The Christ Church ECW Tour of Homes raised approximately $150,000 in 2025 to support women and children in need in our community
  • When disaster strikes, Christ Church sends resources and shows up when we’re needed

Discipleship and Formation

We are always growing in Christ as our hearts are learning to experience the true joy of the presence of Christ, the joy that the world cannot give. We are gradually shaped more and more into the likeness of Christ throughout our lives.

  • We have numerous weekly study groups like the Interpreter’s table, Men’s Group, and Sunday classes for all ages
  • Our children and youth programming help to shape and mentor young minds
  • Our Wednesday night programs feature speakers that invite us to learn about the world and how we can engage it more faithfully
  • We offer classes and workshops throughout the year that challenge, inform, and deepen our understanding of the faith

Fellowship and Pastoral Care

By caring for one another and strengthening the body of Christ, we find support for the journey and deepen the well from which we draw as we share the joy in our hearts from knowing the love of Jesus Christ.

  • Our flower ministry touches dozens of parishioners each week who cannot worship with us
  • Our Angel Guild provides hundreds of meals each year to those who are ill, grieving, or in a time of transition
  • Wednesday night suppers have become a cherished time to gather in fellowship
  • Community events like the Blessing of the Animals, All Hallows Eve, Opera Amore, and special lectures allow us to shine our light for our neighbors as well
