Deacon Deb

Rev. Deacon Deb Luginbuhl was ordained a deacon in the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia in November, 2025. She is a member of the Pastoral Committee and co-chairs the Mission & Outreach Committee with fellow deacon Becky Dorrell. She and Kathryn Saunders co-chair the Christ Church History Committee. Deb participates weekly with the Contemplative Well at Christ Church offerings, including leading centering prayer and facilitating Labyrinth Walks. She has served on the Christ Church Vestry, was a Trustee for the Coastal College of Georgia Foundation and served on the St Simons Land Trust Board. She is currently serving as a board member for the Coastal Georgia Historical Society and Faithworks. Deb spent over 20 years working in live television sports and entertainment, primarily producing open-wheel auto racing for ABC Sports and ESPN, and was awarded nine Sports Emmy Awards. She has been a member of the Directors Guild of America since 1988. She and her husband, Dan, reside on St. Simons Island, Georgia.
