World Labyrinth Day
Date and Time
Join us for a special World Labyrinth Day celebration on Saturday, May 2 at 1:00 PM with a facilitated Labyrinth Walk open to all. Whether this is your first time or a familiar spiritual practice, you are warmly invited to take part—no registration is required. The labyrinth is located across Frederica Road from Christ Church, with parking available at 6329 Frederica Road, and is ADA accessible.
The theme, “Walk as One at 1,” connects participants around the world in a shared moment of peaceful intention, creating a rolling wave of reflection across time zones. For centuries, labyrinths have served as tools for prayer, meditation, and personal spiritual journey. Often described as a “purposeful walk,” the experience can offer space for reflection, healing, gratitude, creativity, or simply a quiet pause.
Unlike a maze, the labyrinth has a single, clearly defined path that leads to the center and back out again—there are no dead ends, no wrong turns, and no wrong way to walk. Each person enters with their own intention and moves at their own pace.
Observed on the first Saturday in May, World Labyrinth Day brings together thousands of people across the globe in a shared moving meditation for peace. We invite you to be part of this meaningful and meditative experience.
