Simchat Torah Celebration
Date and Time
Temple Beth Tefilloh will be celebrating Simchat Torah. At this holiday, they will be finishing reading the Torah (the five books of Moses) and starting all over again as part of their High Holy Day season. We have been invited to come and celebrate with our friends. It will happen on Tuesday, October 14, 6:30 pm. They will hold a special service which will include the unrolling the scroll and reading from it. Refreshments will be served after services at, what they call, an oneg, which means a festive meal. Our Jewish community is small, though mighty. Our presence is what they call a mitzvah, a good deed, to help make their celebration more full and meaningful through our participation.
