Fall Iconography Retreat

We are excited to welcome back renowned iconographer Kara Nelson Gillette for our annual Icon Writing Retreat at Christ Church. This year's retreat will focus on writing the icon of St. George, offering participants the opportunity to prayerfully engage with this ancient Christian tradition through artistic creation and spiritual reflection. Whether you are an experienced iconographer or have never written an icon before, this retreat provides a welcoming and supportive environment for all skill levels.

‍Levels: Open to iconographers of all experience levels

‍Fee: $550 (includes all materials, instruction, and daily lunches)

‍Location: Christ Church Parish Hall

Schedule:

• Sunday, September 13: Opening gathering in the evening
• Monday–Thursday: Workshop sessions
• Friday, September 18: Workshop concludes at midday with the blessing of icons
