All Saints' Day Walk & Potluck

Join us at Christ Church, Frederica for a special evening of remembrance, fellowship, and thanksgiving as we celebrate All Saints’ Day and honor the lives of loved ones who have gone before us. This community-wide gathering offers a meaningful opportunity to share stories, remember those we hold dear, and give thanks for the lasting impact of their lives and love.
All Saints’ Day Potluck
5:30–6:30 PM
We will begin the evening with a potluck in the Parish Hall. Guests are invited to bring a dish that reminds them of a loved one who has passed away. Whether it is a favorite family recipe, a beloved dessert, or a dish that carries a special memory, we welcome you to share the story behind it as we gather around the table. Through these shared meals and memories, we celebrate the connections that continue to unite us across generations.
All Saints’ Walk
6:30–8:00 PM
Following the potluck, we will gather for our All Saints’ Walk around the Christ Church cemetery. Throughout the cemetery, candles will illuminate the graves as we walk together in remembrance. Special music and a liturgy of remembrance will guide our time together as we honor the saints who have shaped our lives, our faith, and our community.
Families are warmly invited to visit Christ Church on November 1 to decorate the graves of loved ones buried in our cemetery. You are welcome to bring flowers, mementos, or other meaningful decorations to honor those you wish to remember.
For families whose loved ones are buried elsewhere, or who do not have family members resting in our cemetery, we invite you to bring a framed photograph or remembrance to place along the walkway during the All Saints’ Walk. This provides a special opportunity for everyone to include the people they love in this evening of remembrance, regardless of where they are laid to rest.
Please bring a flashlight to help guide you along the cemetery paths during the walk.
