Backpack Buddies is preparing to launch its 16th school year of providing weekend food bags to children in need. You can help support a Backpack Buddy student during the 2026–27 school year by sponsoring a child for $75 per semester or $150 for the full year, covering 37 weekends of food (excluding holiday weeks). The increase in sponsorship cost reflects rising food prices and uncertainty around future food assistance funding. Thank you to our generous parishioners and friends who continue to make this ministry possible. Your compassion helps ensure local children have the food they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
