We’re excited to launch our new Ministry Spotlight Series, highlighting the many ways you can get involved at Christ Church, Frederica! Our first spotlight shines on the Christ Church Comforters — a dedicated group of talented and caring individuals who use their knitting and crocheting skills to bring warmth and comfort to those in need.
This group meets in the Parish Hall on an as-needed basis rather than a regular schedule. They welcome participants of all experience levels. If you’re new to knitting or crocheting, don’t be intimidated! You’ll find plenty of encouragement and support. They make prayer shawls, hats, baby blankets, and scarves. These items are given to those sick in the hospital, new mothers, those who are ill, seafarers, or anyone who is in need for extra support or prayer.
