Glynn Episcopal Ministries is thrilled to announce the return of its summer children's book fairs! These community events aim to provide local children with access to books they can enjoy all year long.
This year’s book fairs will take place on June 23rd and July 21st, offering families an opportunity to browse a wide selection of children’s books. They will take place at The Boys and Girls Club at Burroughs-Molette Elementary School.
While it is now too late to sign up for the June 23rd event, we are actively seeking volunteers for the July 21st book fair. Volunteers play a vital role in the success of the event—helping to unload books, set up displays, and assist children and families during the fair. The time slots are unloading and setup which will be 10 AM-12:30 PM and 1 PM - 3 PM for the book fair.
If you’re able to give your time, we’d love your support! Volunteers must sign up at least two weeks in advance to allow time for a required background check. You can register using the link below, which includes both the volunteer sign-up and background check information: Volunteer Sign-Up Form
For any questions, or if you’d prefer to sign up directly, please reach out to Dwala Nobles at dwalalnobles@gmail.com or by text at 404-323-3623.
Let’s work together to make this summer a memorable one for the children in our community!
